Mrs. Julie Riddle To All Instructors
Julie Riddle is a second-generation homeschooler. She grew up in the Corpus Christi area, attending a co-op much like Scholars! She has enjoyed homeschooling her four children since 2019. Before that, she worked in the Cypress Fairbanks school district and served in full-time youth ministry alongside her husband. She is active in her church, enjoys music, hands-on learning, and the great outdoors.
With a background in history and cross-cultural studies, she brings a valuable perspective to the classroom by connecting curriculum to the human stories and cultural values that shaped American policy and economics. She equips students with the critical thinking skills needed to understand their roles as informed citizens and stewards of God’s gifts.
Her educational background includes a B.S. from Oklahoma Baptist University in Cross Cultural Studies & History, Certificates from Classical Academic Press in Teaching, Trauma Informed Care Training, and Biblical Counseling level 1. She also has a background working with educational differences and a deep understanding of diverse learning needs.
