Leah Elder

Leah has been married to her husband, Cory, since 2008, and together they are raising three children. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2006 and has spent her career serving as a registered nurse in the ICU within her community. Leah stepped away from full time bedside nursing for a time to teach in the local public high school. She holds teaching certifications in science and taught Anatomy & Physiology, Chemistry, and Health Science, combining her passion for education and healthcare.

In 2024, Leah began homeschooling her children and has embraced the flexibility and freedom it provides for their family. With experience as a nurse, educator, wife, and mother, she is passionate about encouraging and equipping families—especially those without a full-time stay-at-home parent—to pursue homeschooling while balancing work and family life.

Leah is an active member of Providence Community Church in Atascocita, where she serves as a deacon and teaches within Women’s Ministry. Her husband, Cory, serves as an elder. Outside of serving, working, and spending time with family, Leah enjoys time with her pets, creating educational content online, and practicing Pilates.
